Governor Mark Dayton has approved the candidates for the MNSure board who will join Minnesota Department of Human Services Commissioner Lucinda Jesson in shaping the future of the exchange.

As a previous entry in this series explains, many of the new enrollees under MNsure, Minnesota's new health insurance exchange, will require some assistance to navigate the options available.  However, many people are still not aware of the exchange's programs and discounts aimed to make coverage more affordable.

The Minnesota House of Representatives has recently enacted a plan to develop a state health insurance exchange. The Senate is expected to vote on March 18th, and the governor has promised to sign. The goal of the bill is to forge an easier path towards affordable health insurance for all Minnesotans.
