After a lapse of in-person Zumba sessions due to COVID-19 restrictions over the last year, HealthFinders participants were ecstatic to return to Greenvale Park Community School in Northfield last week. Our Zumba classes had moved to completely remote for the winter months, with Victoria Nolasco, HealthFinders Zumba Instructor, leading sessions daily through Zoom.
18 participants met last Thursday evening to enjoy a night of dancing and bonding. As Nolasco shares, “We’ve missed the energy of being together for classes. It's more fun when you can do it with the whole group!”
Staying Safe While Working Out Participant health and safety is our top priority, which is why we have a contact tracing program for all Zumba participants. In addition, we are:
Pre-registering participants
Screening participants at the door
Requiring all participants to wear a mask during class We are also still offering remote Zumba classes each Monday through Wednesday and Fridays via Zoom from 7–8 p.m. for those that are unable to attend our in-person class.
