On Saturday, April 22, we welcomed nearly 200 guests to Armory Square in Northfield to celebrate the ways HealthFinders is helping our community access quality medical, dental, mental health and substance use care and assistance. The evening would not have been so successful without so many dedicated folks – from volunteers, board members and sponsors to donors, staff and attendees. The support we felt throughout the evening was extraordinary. We are so extremely grateful for all the help and support we received, along with the donations of time and auction items. In addition to primary medical, mental health and dental care, HealthFinders has a range of chronic disease management and wellness programs, medication assistance, mental health support, and substance use services. Our advocates connect patients to available resources and insurance. Did you know: A $25 gift covers the cost of a vial of low-cost insulin; $100 covers the cost for one adult’s needs for an entire month A $40 gift provides one child with fluoride treatment A $50 gift covers the cost of an asthma inhaler A $120 gift covers the cost of a mental health visit for a youth or adult, while $500 covers the cost of one person’s visits for a month A $650 gift covers the cost of a CSA share, which provides fresh vegetables for multiple families and allows us to teach about healthy eating A $1,000 gift provides supportive services by one of our community health workers for a patient during her pregnancy A $5,000 gift provides dental services for up to 20 children and adults
